I wish more trans folks posted timelines of them trying to pass as their old gender. IMO it's a much starker picture of the transformation

@rho I’m always nervous talking about my transition publicly because I have no idea how my experience aligns with others, I didn’t have any knowledge of the community and almost no resources. I think it would be very helpful to be able to see more individual stories and experiences.

@lindsaykwardell 𝓨𝓲𝓴𝓮𝓼 that's really rough, I had community online and a good support network in person.
Personally, it's very important to me to be visibly trans, to help make space for others to follow while also recognizing all the amazing people that did that in the past which made it easier for me. I also recognize the immense amount of privilege that takes and would never ask anyone to do the same.
