every time I go from writing #rust for a long time back to a dynamic language or a less-rich static language, I'm amazed at the immense mental bookkeeping overhead that I just took for granted when I was a heavy JS user.
I spent so long telling myself that it wasn't a big deal, and then as soon as I didn't have to *constantly* watch my ass and try things repeatedly until they worked, I found myself being able to focus on the problem itself much better, vs random runtime crashes :\
